Reminder: Pedersen drafts, sponsors, and votes for bills that pay his employer McKinstry (a company he holds an equity stake in) millions of dollars in government contracts that are often awarded “sole source” (no bid).

Gov Bob Ferguson tried & failed to convince Starbucks not to leave Seattle
Bob told KOMO he had "multiple personal conversations" with the CEO but the coffee giant still chose to move to Nashville.
Starbucks, Meta, Amazon, and Microsoft are all cutting jobs in WA, but Bob blamed it on AI, not his onerous regulations and taxes.

In light of yet another fraud claim around the King County Grants Program, this one $800k in taxpayer funds that a provider gave to family members;
Fox 13's Alejandra Guzman asks King County Councilman Rod Dembowski:
"You were first sworn in, in 2013. Fox 13 has evidence that councilmembers knew about this potential fraud as early as August two years ago...
Why are we hearing about this just now?"
Great question that we suspect answers to will come out in the following months, as King County creates an Office of the Inspector General to investigate.

Never had a real job until just before being elected mayor.

Oregon is a 100% mail in ballot state.
Oregon has 3.3 million eligible voters.
2016 Trump lost by 220,000

Of course @AGOWA advises the legislature, that’s the job. The interesting question is whether this was advice on the law as it exists, or design help for a test case the same office plans to litigate.
One of those is counsel. The other is co-authorship. Readers can decide which this pattern of communications reveals.

There are 5 Supreme Court Justices up for election this year. This is an unprecedented number. There are also some really good constitutionally focused candidates challenging this year which is also unprecedented.
If you have ever voted in WA state before you know that most often the Supreme Court justices have run unopposed.
So it is worth your time to get informed. Tell your neighbors. And vote.
