The framing of transness as an “issue” or a “debate” has allowed people to detach the humanity from our lives. Using these terms and talking about us in this way is part of the why we have become seen as a “topic” rather than a living breathing community.

@HenSloman Thanks @HenSloman. I stopped looking at social media quickly after that (apart from to post here) that episode always triggers me and I don’t think I’ve ever fully appreciated the reason why. X

*TW Trauma* I don’t think I’ve ever fully realised that when I was 9 I suffered a traumatic experience meaning that I have little to no memories before that day, however catching a clip of an 8simple rules ep when the dad dies, bring all the hurt and emotion back 1/7

@AnRuHuHV1 Such important words here. So true about triggers like that and life experiences that teach us so much. Absolutely right about the reasons for getting into health care. Here if you need anything :)

Because I don’t know anyone who got into health care and did it for the money or because they don’t care, no one would listen to everyone else’s problems and worries if they didn’t truly care. 7/7

The past few weeks have been pretty rubbish for me and ended with a visit to A&E. It was absolute chaos, but I had the best care and I can not thank all those Staff in A&E @WythenshaweHosp who continue to work so hard in such difficult circumstances enough. #gratefulforourNHS
