There's still a rewards track for masterwork chests that they forgot to remove 🤦

Being an honorable player isn't even going to give you anything. Just key FRAGMENTS you won't ever use as Hextech chests are again NOT FREE ANYMORE. Beside the ONE skin that you get after playing for months to get honor 5. There is no other incentive to not be toxic in game.

After locking Hextech chests behind a paywall, they didn't even bother changing up the drop rates. It's still shit. Imagine opening up a 125rp chest for an Annie champion shard

@Spidgett I want the early S14 Hextech chests mastery system back, you get a chest after 5 games and another chest after 15 more per champ. You don't even need to get an S.

@HextechChests The mastery system sucked for casuals as well, was to grindy, bring back weekly S rank chests

@Spideraxe30 @davetron It is part of the branding and gameplay. Riot likes fisting its playerbase. Like when they removed champion mastery Hextech chests and any form of tangible reward

@davetron For some feedback, I feel like using the Riot fistbump might be initially confusing for might as someone could think its part of the branding rather than gameplay

@Spideraxe30 @foley_studio And the pass rework was great! Everybody likes getting 4750 BE every 8 weeks. Y'know what would be better? Decrease the availability of Hextech chests, surely that will incentivize the players to buy more skins!

@foley_studio Still aimed for early this year, but the team that works on that was also pulled to finish work on the pass rework and honor stuff

Hey @Spideraxe30 do you know if these were just straight up canned? They revealed them months and months ago and have been radio silent ever since. They are so much better than what we have now.

@nightmariart Riot did do something funny and removed the ability to get Hextech chests for f2p players.

gonna post my gwen skin collection just in case riot does something very funny in the future :D

@cancerratarded Hextech chests can only be bought from the shop now. Their reason for doing so was because it was "boring as a reward" Masterwork chests were removed for the same reason
