Disturbing 2016 surveillance footage Of Diddy beating and kicking Cassie released
On March 5, 2016, surveillance footage from the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, documented a deeply troubling incident involving rapper and producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and his then-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura.
The video, which was shared by CNN on Friday, provides a stark and unsettling portrayal of the events that transpired.
The footage begins with Combs, dressed in only a towel, pursuing Ventura down a hallway. The urgency and aggression in his movements are immediately evident.
Combs catches up with Ventura, grabbing her by the neck and forcefully throwing her to the floor. As she lies on the carpet, he kicks her while using one hand to hold his towel closed. This sequence of actions alone paints a distressing picture of physical abuse.
The situation escalates as Combs picks up personal items from the floor, only to kick Ventura again while she is still down.
His aggression does not subside as he briefly drags her by her sweatshirt before walking away. Ventura, seemingly in shock and distress, is seen picking up a house phone. However, Combs returns, shoves her, and throws an object at her, further exacerbating the situation.
This incident, captured in its entirety by the hotel’s surveillance cameras, aligns with the allegations detailed in Ventura’s lawsuit against Combs.
