If you think that fucker didnt wank the hell out of Bungie’s value just so he can guarantee a fat check when he inevitably walked out the door, you’re dumb.
I dont know the specifics, but I have a very good feeling that he green lit all those incubation projects with the sole purpose of making it look like Bungie has a shit ton of stuff in the pipeline that will fit with Sony’s (at the time) insane push for live service games.

So, in summary: - Sony’s $765 million in impairment losses for Bungie means they are downwardly adjusting the value of an asset that I think everyone but Sony realized was probably not worth $3.6 billion. This is not “lost money” in the sense some are thinking of - This wouldn’t be happening if Bungie games were doing great and printing loads of cash. Clearly they are not - Sony is at least publicly backing Marathon per its comments on the call, so the result of all this is not some imminent game/studio shutdown - Sony says it does not expect more big Bungie impairment losses in FY26 - All this is to say there are no guarantees this doesn’t produce something like layoffs and reduced overall investment in games like Marathon, Destiny and future projects. None of this is good news outside of claims of future Marathon plans to try to turn things around. Emphasis on try - I remain very concerned about Destiny

A fan mod for Hades 2 called Zagreus’ Journey, created by NikkelM, fully integrates the original Hades game’s biomes, enemies, bosses, and encounters.
Players experience these as Melinoë using her updated abilities from the sequel.
Supergiant Games praised it: “We’re blown away by this user-created mod for the PC version of Hades II, which lets you play through the original game’s encounters as Melinoë!”
The mod adds new resources, prophecies, cosmetics, Chaos Trials, and tracks from the original soundtrack.

I don’t think people are understanding this headline - this is genuinely one of the coolest things I’ve seen a movie do.
They hired an ACTUAL artist to PAINT a meme in the style of the ai ones to poke fun at them. Would’ve been so easy to ai generate something for the movie but they held themselves to a higher standard which I really really respect.

Cyberpunk goes out of its way to show that Jackie was completely out of his league even before the heist began.
He was never going to make it to the Big Leagues; his tragedy is that V is so genuinely important that even their best friend won’t be a footnote in their lives.
It’s really quite clever. Jackie seems like a shadow in V’s life, but the inverse is true by the time you get to the end - Jackie is entirely swallowed by V’s monumental status and shadow by the end of the game. Did you think about him even once in the final act, unless explicitly prompted?
