Happy 38th Anniversary, Mr. Spots!!! February 17, 1986, Mr. Spots first opened for business. My husband, Jim was a BGSU college student who missed the food from his hometown, Philadelphia. So, despite having never worked in a restaurant, Jim opened a restaurant…and the rest is history!!!
