Researchers from Australia are in Sacramento to share some of their knowledge and best practices fo first aid for burns. They've found that using running water for 20 minutes, after a burn injury can help drastically reduce the severity of burns and the need for skin grafts.

Childhood exhaust burns are more likely to require skin grafting and more operating room visits. Also more likely to be sustained in rural areas - this creates all sorts of burdens! Prevention is the best cure here!
