@Hooh_eth Yeah the more popular pokemon are quite high now but sometimes you can find deals on 8s which imo is still really good considering most of these cards have low 2 digit pops counting every grade

@StonkHands Honestly, lower end topps haven't moved up too much, but yeah kinda figured the grail stuff would be the first movers of the category. Guess I gotta get lucky on a scoop somewhere to get that exposure now huh? Might be tough to do now though...

@brad1ey_eth @therealtblake @franalations23 Ive been feeling the same way about them as well, its just weird when the market decides to price only the pristines at psa 10 prices, that higher tier makes it hard for regular 10s to catch the same type of bid, but a regular cgc10 looks better than a psa 9 imo

Why is the price discrepancy between a CGC 10 & PSA 10 so large? I just paid $850 for a cgc 10, but last sale of a psa 10 was $9k. I think I got a deal... Thoughts @therealtblake @franalations23

Pokemon twitter help me answer this. I’m calling 2007 sets the EX era the cut off for vintage(power keepers and dragon frontiers being the end). And everything after up till 2016 evolutions XY the cut off for mid era. And everything after that is modern. Obviously the definition for modern and mid era will likely change over time

Took an offer of $3750 on this, feels bad to even sell. PSA doesnt differentiate between the different types of prints and foils on this card. Wonder how many 10s exist with this pattern

grail pokemon cards codex #3 the corocoro comic promos (1996–2001) 36 mysterious cards. no set symbol. no numbers. some magazines came with 1 card, some with 4. nobody knew the full checklist until it ended. the very first ones? glossy ivy pikachu + jigglypuff dropped in november 1996, one week before the first booster pack even existed. corocoro printed up to 2 million copies per month at its peak, yet unpeeled copies today are almost mythical.
