The Sidemen Charity Match is a staple of UK YouTube and the only event that UK YouTube or even just influencers at all tbh have to engage with fans on that scale. It is the biggest Public Event that UK Influencers take part in and that's not just on the pitch, Off the pitch too. It makes an astounding amount of Money for Charity, Helps Network & Grow YouTubers from around the world together and also promote them. There is zero downside to operating the Charity Match as they can afford the money they lose or break even on running it and creators will line up for miles to take part. It is extremely unlikely they go on to never do one again, I garruntee you if they asked any promotion company or anything they'd take all of the pressure off of the sidemen and somewhat they already do this. Stopping this event is a massive shot in their own foots, especially for the amount of content that comes out of it. I could go into the unprecedented engagement it gets but my point stands, The only thing that they could do better is not schedule it on a day where there are other games going on; The issue with doing this in the summer at Wembley is that there is a lot of shit going on with actual football at Wembley in the summer so playing during the off season isn't likely especially with people going on Holiday etc. thanks for coming to my Ted Talk
