What he said also got taken out of context too, essentially he said he was there to be starter & to prepare as a starter not to hold the rookies hands day-to-day. They had to learn from Joe.

@Ramsey_Coaching @RaidersLead AOC is fine as backup on game day, but I think not having a QB coach, it would help to have a proper experienced vet for Mendoza.

Raiders have done business w/ Eagles before, and call me crazy, but McKee would be a fun long-term backup to Fernando Mendoza/contingency plan/future trade chip.

It was the leadership & work ethic void that would be taken away. He sets the tone & that was going to be a loss.

My main reason for pointing the finger @ Spy is GMs are the ones who offer amounts/lengths of contracts. I'm unaware of PC involving himself in that aspect of an org.

@HugItOutAlready @Raiders_Analyst Yes, that's what I'm counting on as well. That was a crazy stupid contract they gave Cappa. I mean, what were they thinking? The guy was coming off of a year where he was arguably the worst starting OL in the league.
At least they didn't make that kind of mistake again.

@RaiderJay00 I do agree with NT, but I think the roster has enough to make it work this season if they had too. Butler has experience as an undersized NT with Pats worst case & Pegues has the size of a more traditional NT.
In saying this, if Hunter is there at 36, that would to pass!

Raiders need QB (Mendoza), NT, and OT starters. Rest is depth. Would love to get competition for Palo too.
Other than that the Off-season has been a huge W.

@UnsolicitedHQ @E5Nasty I think Johnson, but think he goes late 2nd / 3rd round. Backup RB isnt a big need (not that I like drafting for need & all for BPA) but think there will be other guys who are BPA & also more pressing need when he will potentially be drafted.

Going to be some sick battles in TC for those end spots. I agree Booker and butler probably slated for those spots BUT Jonah Laulu earned a starting spot last year imo, and Tonka is coming. He’s bout to be a fuckin dude this season.
Got some quality depth at those spots

@JesseSBSN As it stands I’ve got Butler & Booker at end w a nose between them. Not saying we don’t have a rotation there, we do, but on run downs & short yardage I put Crosby & Paye at OLB 😈 w both being able to move inside from wide 9 to 5 as the matchup calls for. Koonce in sub packages.
