like it drives me a little crazy that one of my favorite people on this whole app that literally doesn't like romantic cleon is blocked by people that like ada/aeon when ada is one of their favorite characters all bc their bio mentions claire and the use of "claire fans" has made people cagey any time someone likes claire. she's a legacy character and a generational horror survival icon and she deserves better than constantly being tied to a ship that has yet to be anything more than platonic in canon. it's so sad. 🙁 i love claire redfield and i love ada wong and i hate that they are targeted as individuals when this is literally just an issue with some people they like a (to-date) fanon ship being unable to accept that it's fanon bc for some fucking reason that makes them unable to have fun.

aoelekem no one has ever said anything to it but we have discovered it's blocked by some ada accounts and it's always very sad bc firstly even liking cleon doesn't mean you hate ada by default but it has never even really mentioned romantic cleon, just claire and it's so nice to everyone on this entire app even when people aren't nice back.

@foxwetsitstail i need these fandoms to stop pitting women against each other... ada and claire are both so lovely.. we need to love ALL the women and not boil them down to ships
