It has been a productive year for Hughes Energy as we continue to develop projects and more importantly, create new sustainable bioproducts made from Wilson Fibre®. To celebrate some of our recent successes we would like to welcome you to our new website!

Hughes Energy can reduce the need for landfill and offers a solution to waste diversion and resource recovery. Having a positive impact on the disposal and recycling of waste, and supporting conserving natural habitats to ensure a healthier future for both animals and humans.

The creation of landfills typically means destroying natural habitats for wildlife. The average landfill size is 600 acres. With over 3,000 active landfills in the United States, as much as 1,800,000 acres of habitat have been lost.

Every year we dump a massive 2.12 billion tons of waste. If all this waste was put on trucks, they would go around the world 24 times. This stunning amount of waste is partly because 99 percent of the stuff we buy is trashed within 6 months. 🤯🤯🤯

The EPA estimates that 75% of the American waste stream is recyclable, but we only recycle about 30% of it. The Wilson System® breaks down the organic fraction of waste to producing bioproducts and biofuels and separate and sterilise all plastic, glass, and metal content!
