I caught some heavy news today. My son has decided to share with me that he's actually a pirate. He's known since he was 9. I've decided that we will consult with a surgeon in the morning to see what options we have going forward. One leg and one eye must go so he can feel like he was born in the right body. I am disappointed with the decision by the Israeli police to prevent the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem and the Christian Communities of the Holy Land from marking Palm Sunday at the Holy Sepulchre.    These actions further violate the longstanding status quo of Jerusalem’s Holy Sites. People of every faith in Jerusalem should be able to worship freely, fully, and without fear. I am pleased that President Herzog has contacted the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, to reaffirm this.
