This right here is EXACTLY what crypto was supposed to eliminate… not reinvent in a more fragile way.
We went from don’t trust banks printing money out of thin air to… stacking synthetic receipts on top of synthetic receipts until nobody even knows what the underlying asset is anymore.
Lido → stETH → EigenLayer → KelpDAO → rsETH → Aave → leverage → loop → pray nothing breaks.
This isn’t innovation… it’s leverage disguised as “yield.”
It’s the same playbook as central banks and TradFi:
dilute, rehypothecate, stack risk, and hope liquidity never dries up.
I’ve been saying it for years… this ends the same way it always does.
When the music stops, everyone realizes the “yield” was just risk being passed around in circles.
