Big news in Minnesota. MPFF successfully got a bill passed to enhance their pension benefits and protect retirees against increasing inflation The bill includes changes to duty disability claims, namely a five-year limit on a city's requirement to pay health insurance premiums.

6 tents engulfed in flames at an unsheltered encampment behind the Mission - Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary Firefighters quickly contained and extinguish the blaze. No injuries reported. Railroad tracks nearby not affected.

Crews currently on scene of an exterior deck fire on 300 block of Morton St W. Fire quickly extinguished. All floors evacuated safely. No extension into the structure.

unday (04/28/24) night St. Paul Fire dispatched companies to smoke in a commercial building on the 600 block of Hamline Ave N. Engine 18 was first in and reported they had a 2 story taxpayer with smoke showing from the front door.

The Madison Fire Department announced in a press release, Mifflin Street EMS teams were called to 14 medical emergencies with 11 of those calls resulted in hospital transport on Saturday's Mifflin Street Block Party. channel3000.com/news/11-transp…
