@biologistimo I just bent forward to apply lotion to my legs after a shower recently and experienced one of the most painful rib subluxations! I usually can wiggle most things back into place, but with ribs and hips, I just have to wait for them to slide back into place over time (EDS)

It never happens as the result of anything interesting. Carry a heavy satchel bag? Walk down stairs? Reach to grab something in the back seat? I always wrapped things in the field and was careful with my body during fieldwork…guess I need to do that for regular life.

I need to complain please keep scrolling if you don’t want to read something in a wahhhhh voice Pretty certain I subluxated a rib last week and it’s stuck. I’m halfway thru a 7 hour flight day and IT HURTS SO BAD.
