After 52 years of successfully supporting early-career scientists, IFS will close down by 30 June 2025, due to lack of funding. Until then we are here, keeping up the good work.

Yesterday we were honoured by a visit from a former IFS grantee, Dr Samson Shimelse at the IFS office. Dr Shimelse is joining the ongoing @IUFRO World Congress in Stockholm, and his research investigates the attractiveness of area exclosures as carbon sinks in Ethiopia.
