Looking back to last week: Heads of School helping each other with their new badges, saying thank you to Amber and Abbie, and the Sixth Form Ball.

Two jammed-packed days and one night in boarding for the induction to Sixth Form. Students made a film, a territory map, explored their futures, and got to know each other. So excited to be working with these students and seeing their journeys progress.

Two of our brilliant Alumni returned yesterday to talk to students about their degrees in Music and Architecture. Thank you to Lily & Caleb for inspiring us all with your stories & experiences. Great to hear of your successes as you continue your studies.

Year 13 had a lovely send off to study leave with their BBQ, rounders, and personalised sweets bags from the Heads of Prep and Prep Ambassadors. Thanks to everyone for making it a special afternoon.

Congratulations to Selin for a distinction in her Grade 8 LAMDA. An amazing achievement which also counts as 30 UCAS points!

So proud of one of our Sixth Formers who presents the Friday Request Show, visiting Colchester's Mersea Ward, talking to patients recovering from operations. She says: 'It's really rewarding to learn how much the patients love hearing their songs and talking about their memories'

It was great to hear Mrs Finch in the Year 6 assembly this morning talking about LAMDA through the whole school, inspiring the young pupils to progress to Sixth Form and convert their qualification to UCAS points. Well done to Lucy May for her distinction.
