It was really like this. I never dreamed that would be surprising to later generations.

I LOST 5,000 Ada. Do you think you’re down bad? Just wait until you hear this story 😢 A few months ago I withdrew nearly 2,000 dollars in cash from the bank to pay the rent. I put the cash in my inner jacket pocket and went about my day. Later on the wife and I went to the gym. Once we were done working out she drove to work and I started biking home. I was biking home wearing the same jacket with the cash in the inner pocket. Takes me about 10 minutes to get home. I take my jacket off, check my inner pocket, nothing… Check my other pockets, nothing. Check the car, nothing. Check my bag, NOTHING! So yeah. It was safe to assume $2,000 flew out of my pocket and into the wind. I even went back along the route I took to get home but I found nothing. So, what did I do next? Well, I had to pay the rent. So I sold 5,000 Ada to cover that loss and pay the rent. So, next time you think you’re down bad, remember my story. 💀 Luckily I was able to cover it. But I’d rather not lose that much money. We live and we learn I guess.
