Why did you guys tell me season 1 of Babylon 5 was rough? It's one of the better freshman seasons of any show I've ever seen. Mr Garibaldi and Susan Ivanova are two of the best-written sci-fi characters I've ever had the pleasure of getting to know. It kind of makes me sad we don't get characters like that anymore, do we? Ivanova is girl boss done right and Garibaldi is a man with purpose with realistic past problems. You guys tried to set me up for a low blow, but the "weakest" episode of the entire show (the fighting episode) was far more enjoyable than a few of SG-1s early episodes. There hasn't been much G'Kar yet, but I've also learned to really enjoy Londo. I see much of myself in Ivanova, and I think finding a character you relate heavily to is paramount for every show--it makes it personal. And wow, Walter Koenig AND Jeffrey Combs in the Psi Corps?? Outstanding cast all-round so far. I'm halfway through "A Voice in the Wilderness (Part 2)" and thoroughly enjoying the cookie crumbs of story beats they're clearly setting up for later. Sure, Babylon 5 plays out like Days of Our Lives in Space, and it was far too nuanced for my 9-year-old mind when it released, but the characters, acting, and storypieces are honestly as relevant today as ever, easily accessible and meaningful as an adult more than 30 years later. Perhaps the seasons 3-4 are just so good, you find that the first season underwhelming, but I'd already place the show in my Top 10 Sci-Fi Series list had it only the first season.

No, they absolutely were not right. One was Black Hitler, ready to start a war that ultimately, he was gonna lose and make the lives of black people a billion times worse after that war for association, not to mention those who joined him getting killed on the spot for it. The other was technically a nepotism baby who got pissed off and went bloodthirsty because he couldn't get what he wanted... granted, his father was to blame for turning his back on him. So, no... they were not right. They were the absolute opposite.

Lukewarm Take: The reason why Cyberpunk 2 needs to have a third-person mode is also for the character you've customized. Before you start playing Cyberpunk 2077, you spend some time customizing your character to your own liking, then find some awesome clothing just to find out that you rarely get to see your character. The only time you'd get to appreciate what you've created and customized is when you're in third person while driving a vehicle, motorcycle, photo mode or the ending cutscenes.
