APC dey use reverse psychology for una. They know that people are suffering terribly due to this lack of power supply & crazy fuel hike. And they know that the next line of action would be to protest, so they anticipated it. Get a few influencers to tweet as if they are calling for a nationwide protest, get them to delete their posts and act as if they had been threatened privately. Automatically, that dissuades or discourages others who genuinely want to organize a protest. Simple reverse psychology.

Beyond Tribe and Tongue Nigeria is not the only nation shaped by a mosaic of tribes, languages, and religions. Around the world, several countries with similar diversity are striving—often successfully—to turn it into a source of strength rather than division. India serves as a classic example. Despite a landmass nearly three and a half times larger than Nigeria's and being home to many religions and cultures, India has evolved into a global benchmark for democracy. With a population exceeding one billion people and close to one billion registered voters—of whom about 700 million typically participate in elections—it has established a system widely regarded as free, fair, and credible. Its electoral processes are conducted with remarkable efficiency, often recorded in real-time and largely free of glitches. Beyond the ballot, India has emerged as a global leader in STEM—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—while also transforming its healthcare system, extending medical insurance to over 50% of its vast population. These achievements are not accidental; they result from deliberate efforts to strengthen the centripetal forces—those elements that bind a nation together—rather than amplify the centrifugal impulses of division that continue to challenge us. When I advocate for the unity of Nigeria, I do so with deep sincerity and conviction. Our cohesion is an indispensable foundation for peaceful coexistence, sustainable development, and enduring national stability. I urge my fellow Nigerians to reflect on the example of India—a nation with a far larger population and an even more intricate web of ethnic and religious diversity—yet one that continues to forge unity from complexity. Ultimately, the true fault lines in our national life are neither tribal nor religious. No tribe or religion enjoys cheaper food in the market, nor is any group more secure than another. Our real challenge lies in competence, capacity, compassion, and the commitment to build a better country. Only then can we move beyond tribe and tongue and create a nation that truly works for all. With the right leadership, a new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

See eh, once you enter the UK, just drop some of the things you think you know or are used to back home at the airport. Unlearn and relearn. Because what is normal to you back home can land you in serious trouble here. I’m sure some of you have heard this story; A lady took her colleague to an NHS tribunal for calling her “auntie” and she actually won. The colleague said it’s a sign of respect where he comes from, but the lady found it offensive and called it harassment. And that’s the point. What you see as respect, someone else can see as disrespect. So please, Learn to address people the way they want to be addressed. If someone says: I don’t like that” Just stop. Because in the UK, intention is not always enough. What matters is how the other person receives it. One man’s fish is another man’s meat indeed🤷‍♀️ What do you think though? Was that really harassment or just a misunderstanding?

Decided not to wear the infinity ♾️ branded cap to neutralise the "slave comments". And that's the thing about chains. Physical chains are easy to break but a slave at heart knows no salvation. Unmoisturised giant blobfish.

It is not that much of a big deal Dr. Nigerians are tenacious, they'll cope with it, they'll shift, everyone will use paper chatting, surgeries will be done anyhow. Life will move on. The government is trying their best, let the people keep managing. It is well.

I'm really wondering how hospitals are coping with this electricity issue. I'm hearing some people are even cancelling surgeries, not able to sustain cold chain, electronic medical records are being affected and more. It is a total disaster for the health sector

It is planned. The seat would go to someone in the family. Years ago, somebody explained his father was bidding for FG contract and he applied himself and applied using his children's name. That was 5 bids from one family alone. The plan was that the contract would go to one person eventually, and it did. When you school with children of the rich, some are open to sharing stuff theor parents do because they don't really care.

Father and son contesting for same Senate seat in the FCT. Son refused to use his father's name. Is this not laughable? 😭😂

Last year, I helped a young man secure admission into the UK for an MRes programme. Suddenly, he decided to handle the rest of the process himself and said he no longer needed my help. Last month, he came back to me after his UK visa was refused. Why was he denied? His documents were not properly assessed, and he didn’t perform well during the interview. In January 2026, three of my clients attended interviews with UKVI, and all of them were granted visas. None of my clients have ever failed a visa interview in any country, including Lithuania, Sweden, and Russia. Now, he has wasted over ₦10 million. Let me break it down: •Flywire charges and deductions: about ₦3 million when refunding his tuition •Visa application fees for himself and his family of five •Although the IHS was refunded, he still lost money on other costs •Proof of funds requirement tied up nearly ₦5 million All of this could have been avoided with proper guidance. No genuine agent will charge you ₦12 million for processing. Using an experienced consultant would have saved him most of what he lost. My advice is simple: even if you cannot afford an agent, speak to someone who has successfully gone through the visa process in the country you are applying to. It will help you avoid costly mistakes. What you read online or relying solely on AI tools like ChatGPT or Grok is not enough when it comes to visa applications. These are serious processes that require accurate, personalised guidance. I understand that some people prefer the DIY route, and I respect that. However, as straightforward as the UK process may seem, things are getting stricter. In January 2026 alone, around 50% of student visa applications were either refused or withdrawn. I also had another case last year, someone who was denied a Sweden visa due to poorly managed proof of funds. An experienced agent would have prevented that. Another story for another day.
