Bombay gave him everything...he earned everything...then it watched him disappear, 14 June 2020, Five years and still No answers.
Born in Patna on 21st January 1986, he came to Bombay with a physics degree, a dancer's body and zero film connection.
He started as a background dancer in bollywood events, became a TV star in Pavitra Rishta, then walked away from TV at its absolute peak to chase films.
While star kids got launches, he stood in casting queues alone, No family, no connections, no industry surname, just talent and preparation.
His debut film in 2013 was q masterclass. Three unknown boys, a cricket story, critics said he had arrived, bollywood insiders did not celebrate with him. In 2016, he became MS DHONI on screen, not imitated became the boy from Patna played the boy from Ranchi and 1.3 billion Indians believed every second of it.
He kept a handwritten list of 100 things he wanted to do. Learn quantum physics, buy a telescope, visit NASA, study black holes, ye was working through it one by one.
His 2018 film chhichhore, had one message... failure is not the end, life us worth fighting for. It won national award for best Film. He never collected it. In 2019, he began speaking openly about the nepotism he had faced, films were taken away, opportunities blocked, interviews cancelled, he named what Bombay never admits.
People who knew him said the last year was different. The industry was quietly frozen him out, projects cancelled, relationship that ended badly, isolation in a city of millions.

He was found at his bandra apartment on 14 June 2020. He was 34 years old, within hours bombay was performing grief for a man it had spent 2 years of ignoring. CBI, ED, NCB three agencies, five years, Multiples FIRs. Statements from 50 people.
The case that was supposed to give answers have only more questions.
Today is Five years, his Films still play, his fans still fight for answers.

How did everyone feel about Toei's adaptation of the five elders' entrance?
In my opinion, they executed it perfectly and did the manga justice, especially when you consider the difficulty of animating the colossal size of each elder without CGI.
