@IbnRuum No he definitely was known before, as a matter of fact our daies are known because of him. Still to this day they surpass us in number because these pagans all unite all their sects against us. This is why its important to support daies

@IbnRuum Buddy, it's 2026. Islam now allows women to do dawah in public as well. Women staying in their homes was backwards culture of the past. Now we need women to be in public and do dawah as well. How else are we gonna farm conversions?

@sulayman_Kindi Debates are a staple of the Da'wah bro ecosystem. It's best for actual people of knowledge not to do them except maybe in a private setting.

I'm a writer, lecturer and teacher. debates I leave to others because I'm pathetic at it. I watched an anti Shii debate of an expert debater who behaved like a teen and harped on mists in his mind. If I were ignorant I'd might have been convinced to convert to Shiasm

The "Da'wah" that is legislated in the Shari'ah is only found coupled with Islamic wars of conquest. Select any relied-upon work of Islamic law and jurisprudence over the past 1,200 years and you will not find "Da'wah" mentioned except in combination with surrounding a non-Muslim city or town while threatening to conquer it and only then, engaging in "Da'wah" as an alternative to conquest or forcibly coming under the authority of the Shari'ah. In Islamic law, women do not lead men, not with regards to the state nor with regards to the home. A woman doesn't have control over many of her own matters in Islam, rather her husband or Waali does. The non-legislated and fabricated forms of contemporary "Da'wah" are not only completely severed from the wisdom of the Shari'ah, but they add to the innovation by denying Jihad and even condemning it is a common theme to "Da'wah." Muslim women engaging in the innovated forms of "Da'wah" is simply another manner in which individuals who ascribe to a corrupted and compromised version of Islam gesture to non-Muslims that they are indeed compromised and corrupted for the sake of pleasing and resembling non-Muslims.

@IbnRuum Whether you accept it or not he was a textualist and literalist. He rejected kalam and wrote the book the incoherence of the philosophers.

This is exactly why science declined in the Islamic world: a narrow-minded fixation on studying only the Qur’an and hadith led many to treat other fields of knowledge as unnecessary or even dangerous. Ironically, movements such as Salafism contributed to the decline of Islamic civilization through their rejection of philosophy, speculative theology, and the study of the natural world in favor of an exclusively literalist focus on scripture. I hope the Islamic world moves beyond rigid atharism, hanbalism, and salafism, and rediscovers the intellectual traditions that once made Islamic civilization a center of philosophy, science, medicine, and mathematics. The Qur’an and sunnah contain layers of symbolism, metaphor, and deeper meaning that deserve reflection and interpretation, not merely legalistic literalism. Muslims should not fear reason, philosophy, or scientific inquiry. The study of the natural world can deepen one’s understanding of Allah SWT and creation far more than endless debates over rigid legal formalism developed centuries after the Prophet ﷺ. Embrace ‘Aql (reason). Embrace Mantiq (logic). Embrace Kalam (speculative theology). Embrace Falsafa (philosophy). Study the symbolic and metaphoric dimensions of the Qur’an and Sunnah. Reject blind legalism and anti-intellectualism. A civilization flourishes when revelation and reason work together, not when one is used to silence the other. Allah SWT is everywhere, the reference to his Throne is a purely Metaphoric Symbolism in the Quran, Since Allah SWT is the All Powerful God that created the universe, he can not be limited by time, space, or matter. Hence his reference to his Throne is purely Symbolic and Metaphorical, otherwise if it was literal than Allah SWT would be limited to a space. “And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than his jugular vein.” — Qur’an 50:16 If we use this verse in the Quran and apply a literalist athari interpretation while eliminating metaphors then we could say Allah is within our jugular veins, however we know that is not true because their is nothing physical in the universe like him.

Incorrect Islam was very flexible in its first 300-400 years than the 3 athari scholars destroyed the institution of debate and open mindedness (Ahmed Ibn Hanbal, Al Ghazali, and Ibn Taymiyyah.) The people of kalam would have saved Islamic civilization from decline but the reactionaries held us back for the past 1000 years.

@HisanDaStallion This is the correct view, had the Mu’tzila won the theological battle and eradicated Atharism in its infancy we would have won the great civilisation battle against the west and become the dominant civilisation on the planet.
