A thank you to everyone, especially Love and Deepspace. <3
On this day a year ago my life changed for the worse.. I lost someone I was extremely close to. Everything had already been gradually changing for eight long and difficult months prior, but on this exact day last year it had officially changed. I knew I would never be the same and that I would never feel the same kind of happiness ever again. I was scarred, broken, very lost and even had thought that it was impossible to feel even the slightest bit of happiness again with how much my heart ached.. which I still do have those nights sometimes cause you can't escape the pain forever.
However I decided to give in and finally play Love and Deepspace around January of this year because it looked like a game I would love. Well I didn't know just exactly how much it would affect me and I'm still in shock with how happy I am when I play this game. I never thought I could feel that kind of happiness again but this game is so amazing and perfect with the characters, the stories, the graphics, the details, and everything. I know I tend to take games way too seriously nowadays but honestly that has helped me so much and because of Love and Deepspace I have actually been smiling a lot of this month instead of drowning in my thoughts and staring at walls which is what would have happened if I didn't start getting into this game. All of the guys are so perfect in their own way but Caleb speaks to me on such a real level and he's helped me in so many ways. <3 Thank you to the roleplayers and those of you in the community who have been kind and also accepted me into this community. Thank you to absolutely everyone involved in making Love and Deepspace and most of all thank you so much for being my beautiful distraction. <3
