@49buried0found The first film is a cold dish I haven’t touched in a while, and I agree. To me, the second film is tremendously more nuanced, memorable, and darker. I highly recommend it over the first any day, mainly because it’s the same premise, but just much more ambitious with a great cast.

@InTheThreshold I have mixed feelings on smile. I only watched the first one and I thought it was fun but I felt like the message they wanted to do with mental illness or whatever didn't really work and came off kind of poorly I liked the creature design/effects tho

@MadDoctorRaven I remember looking for the silhouette at the end of the demo, because there’s no way it was an actual model. To my surprise, it was. My reaction to seeing this crusty, wrinkly, deluding old thumb for the first time was absolutely hysterical. It was all a ruse… then I cried.

In retrospect LN 3 is kind of funny. -First Trailer shows an ominous figure in a mirror. -Mirror travel. -Importance on mirrors that are in odd places. -Has a Mirror Edition. People (rightfully) expected Mirror Man as a main antagonist. Uhmmm GIANT F O O T
