it's even worse
- most VPN's are blocked & won't work with JP sites
- paypal won't save you, foreign cards denied? you're screwed
- add JP only phone verification to top it off
they make it impossible to access anything without the help from someone physically in japan

Ok I’m actually committed to this no kidding. I’m going to watch all 120 animated BL out there from 1987 to 2026. I hope I can find them all especially the older ones. I’ll be rating them based on animation and overall production quality. If you’re interested here’s the thread🧵

@SorryTeamNA SubLime will only stick to pretty boy mangas. Yaoi/BL has genres they don't want to look at such as Bara. Theres also older titles that Tokyopop's BLU once had that expired and SL picked some of the titles up back in the day which was also a strong move back then from them.

@SorryTeamNA 7S only really started picking up the pace after getting the licence to publish Mo Dao Zu Shi. Sublime slowed right down, I think TokyoPop's LoveLove has more going on. 7S, still have a GoogleForm you can fill out for so many suggestions where SubLime limit themselves.

@utenthys Legit 2024 and 2025 I've bought so much more SevenSeas BL than Sublime. I recently got Sleeping on Paper Boats v2 cause it feels like the more thrilling title they picked up in ages. I don't hate on the Lime and fluff but dam it's like luke warm water with them lately. No spice.
