The three Baltic States jointly agreed to impose national sanctions against those who suppressed legitimate protests in Georgia. Opponents of democracy and violators of human rights are not welcome in our countries. 🇪🇪🇱🇻🇱🇹🇬🇪

Today in Vilnius we focused on defence & security, unwavering support to Ukraine’s victory & euroatlantic integration, sanctions, countermeasures to russia’s hybrid aggression and sabotage, & joint 🇱🇹, 🇱🇻, 🇪🇪 critical infrastructure projects. Thank you, dear @EvikaSilina & @KristenMichalPM, for our cooperation, and godspeed to 🇱🇻 taking over the presidency of the Baltic Council of Ministers!

This week 🇺🇦 marks 1000 days of Russia‘s full-scale invasion, 11 y since the start of the Revolution of Dignity, & Holodomor remembrance day. These milestones in 🇺🇦 history are testimony to 🇺🇦 enormous sacrifice for freedom and uncompromising resolve to defend it. To help Ukraine persevere, 🇱🇹 Government has allocated additional 15 m EUR of support. Our military aid is also en route to help Ukraine prevail.

1,000 days since Russia launched its full-scale war against Ukraine is more than enough time, bloodshed, and devastation to realize Russia's true ends & means in regard to 🇺🇦 and global security. Some good news are out - now all of us in the free world must use the momentum and #ArmUkraineNow, more and faster, to help it prevail. Peace through strength is the only way and Ukraine’s victory is the key first step. Слава Україні!

Had a good exchange on the progress of deployment of 🇩🇪 brigade in Lithuania, regional security, our support to Ukraine, and countering Russia's aggression. We must not become accustomed & numb to Russia’s daily terror – that is exactly what 🇷🇺 is counting on.

Today, with @northropgrumman, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will give a huge impetus to ramp up 🇱🇹 defence industrial capacity, focusing on development, production, and supply of medium-calibre ammunition. To halt Russia's aggression, defensive might of democracies must match the security challenges. Grateful to everyone for the contribution and laying the ground for this invaluable cooperation between 🇱🇹 & 🇺🇸.

Happy to see vibrant relations between our countries built on mutual desire to live in free and peaceful Europe.
