Regarding Chapel Hill ISD (Smith County, Texas), I want to make it perfectly clear: the screenshots of messages from Joe Hewitt were shared with former Principal Strode, who is now the Assistant Superintendent. He then shared them with Superintendent Lamond Dean in April 2022. Nothing was done. This was four years ago. I am sharing this so parents understand that Superintendent Dean is NOT who you think he is. The appropriate response would have been to immediately remove Joe Hewitt from school grounds and issue a statement to parents. Instead, he remained silent. They all did.
