Finally, $MOVE is now available again to Coinbase users across the world. So many users in the US have been asking us how and where they can trade MOVE, and the answer is Coinbase. You will see that MOVE has a “DEX” tag because we deployed on Aerodrome. Coinbase’s new policy towards the democratization of assets paved the path for us. the crypto doom and gloom on the timeline is eerily reminiscent of previous bear markets. everyone is overreacting. while institutions are now all-in on crypto, that doesn’t mean the casino is closed forever. the hot ball of money is not going anywhere. you just need to be patient, stay active and keep building for the right reasons

Why @KASTxyz and @movement_xyz Why am I backing @torabyou What does that mean for Solana? The story: I’m ngl, when Torab first reached out, all I heard about Movement was what all of you heard too. This was back in July. I was in California a month later though, and we finally met in person. I didn’t beat around the bush, and asked him to tell me straight what happened, what is happening now, and what next. I realised that @torabyou was essentially put in a tough spot, but instead of walking away, he leaned in. Respect. I still was obviously very cautious, reputation and brand is everything. But as I spent more time with him, I formed the conclusion - a) he had principles and morality at his core, and b) he was a Solana maxi too (like all of us at KAST). So why bother partnering with a chain like @movement_xyz when Solana is a gazzilion times bigger. My conclusion is simply this: 1/ Some chains are chains 2/ Some chains are ecosystems 3/ Some chains will form into more specialised offerings Solana is 1 & 2, and the best at it by far. But for the first time, I was open to the idea there maybe more specialist things we can try, with someone new. Torab’s proposition was simply this… “I believe in @KASTxyz and believe in the team to make it the #1 Neobank built on crypto rails” “All I want is a chance, to work on specialist use cases with KAST and I’ll throw everything behind it. I don’t want a guarantee, I want a chance”. Compelling. This guy, basically got f—ked by the main founders, stuck around, literally pushed the whole company up a hill on his back. He believes in us. Will literally throw financial resources at our users. And throw millions more into R&D. (And…still a Solana Maxi at heart). Albeit, with a big G-Move chain on top. OK, what’s not to love. It took six months of planning, discussions, to get here. But excited for the partnership, and working together on lots of interesting new things. Let’s go! Finally, here's the acceptance. And I am happy to see this. So, it's day zero for Aptos, and its superapps will drive APT price across three primary verticals: @DecibelTrade, @shelbyserves, and @Aptos Licensing. And what does that tell you? It was never about the Aptos tech, and they knew it too, but the reasoning for where we are wasn't often discussed. Perhaps more transparency will help, but let's keep fighting for it. I have taken myself down while doing it, but I am sure others will do it too, and genuinely not to draw attention to themselves, because that leads to nothing. Those who are still on a mission to tone it down (not the Aptos team members, they are part of the company, but I am talking about individuals outside Aptos) are doing so selfishly, intending to extract and move on. Enough of the fake positivity that I see on the timeline, even to date. The tech is impressive; it matters, too, but not for direct retail. That's how it will be, and we have to accept it. While I gave up, as I said, on the builder's side of things, and GUI has been in talks with some of the other ecosystem teams, and you will hear more about that soon, but I will still be bullish on Decibel, Shelby, and anything that is going to try to revive Aptos and the token. I'm going to say it here, and anyone who knows me and my feelings about Aptos will know what my intentions are here. 1. Aptos still needs to do better due diligence when it comes to offering grants, because chronic rug pullers in the space are coming in to repeat what they did in the past. The Aptos team thinks the intentions are any different this time, and that's a big mistake. I am specifically mentioning Aptos Assembly here because I have seen projects included in it, so I am making this point. 2. The LFM program needs to either change how it works or not run at all. Projects are deciding what's best, even after being a part of the LFM, and going through the shit of processes, including the Binance Alpha inclusion, is killing each of them because whatever the retail is present in Aptos is also not bidding on any of those projects because they know they'd get dumped on. 3. The local teams need to open up and be proactive about working with teams that seek support, rather than forming their own cabals with friends and circles from the other ecosystems they have friends in. What would make me bullish is the work done there, not whether it is named Aptos India or MoveClub India. The teams chosen as winners of your widely viral programs are struggling, and that reflects on you as well, not just on those teams. 4. The eco teams and leads need to spend time with builders to have a timely check on whether they are all happy, or if they need any support. I can tell you this because I don't care now - the previous eco leads used to jump on calls with founders to understand the vision, show support, or even suggest things to work on if the focus seemed lost due to several reasons. This year, we had no meaningful calls with ecosystem team members, and at one point, it almost felt as if we didn't exist in the ecosystem. No directional support, no activation, and everything we did was primarily driven by our own initiative and willingness to work with teams that were even new to Aptos. This has to change. And no, you cannot tell me you have only 24 hours in a day. I am not the guy who jumps happily and says "I told you so" when I see one of the builders leaving the space, because I feel as bad as anyone else, including the founders of those teams, when it happens, and with a few recent projects slowly fading out, it only tells me that there has to be much restructuring done. Still, above all, I am glad to see that one of the Aptos lead team members mentioned there are issues to be fixed. It begins with the APT token's performance. Being someone who has advocated for Aptos for over 3 years, regardless of the market, the Kaito campaigns, or what I gain from it, I am also not happy about having to sacrifice myself in the process, but it is what it is. I'd be glad if all my peers here win something good, but since I'm heavily involved in every current and emerging DEX, my focus would be on Decibel, then Shelby, which is unique and will hopefully drive interest in Aptos. Let's see Decibel and Shelby win! As for @guiinuonaptos, the struggle was real, not for us alone as a team, but for the entire GUI community, our graphics and social teams, but we are moving past that. We would seek the community's support for our next steps, as I, Smith Nomadic, or anyone contributing to GUI, have no intention of giving up. And no, this is not the founder's saying "I am still here" because we don't keep watching, we keep doing what we do best - create experiences by building games, having some of the best memes, and the slogan "what is dead cannot die" will always mean the same.

It’s been >15 years since the launch of Bitcoin, and the market is more focused than ever on real products solving real problems for real people. Real-world adoption has early signs of success and will grow exponentially in the coming years. In the past years since Aptos mainnet launch in 2022, we’ve built best-in-class infrastructure - the most scalable, fastest, and cost-effective blockchain ever created. We created products like Aptos Keyless to enable smooth Internet adoption and Geomi to accelerate builders. We made powerful strategic partnerships with builders to drive scale and adoption. During these same years, we also rushed and messed up the airdrop. We focused on the wrong metrics, like TVL. Alongside many incredibly valuable strategic partnerships, we also made some bad business arrangements that didn’t deliver value to the ecosystem we were expecting. We have learned much from these mistakes, made significant leadership changes and have done a lot of clean up this year. Difficult, out of the spotlight hard work, but necessary. These necessary changes laid the groundwork and strengthened our ability to execute much more in the future. My passion has always been the mission: unlocking financial freedom and financial equality. Historically, we’ve been conditioned to think of global equality in terms of the legal system and human rights. It’s not enough. Perhaps, the 1776 Declaration of Independence says it best that we are all “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” True global equality requires inclusive access to the world’s financial systems, from capital markets and money movement to wealth-management tools and stable stores of value. More powerful financial tools for everyone. It can be odd to think of fair and equitable global trading as a societal accomplishment, but the opportunities are not equal today. IPOs and private funding have limited access. Many other investment strategies have limited access, especially globally. A global trading engine can be built on a highly-customized and decentralized technology stack. It can be accessible to all with all the rules and operations codified. It can offer fair features not found in any centralized market today - such as protection against front-running, sandwich attacks, and hidden costs. Trading tools like delta-neutral strategies can be available for anyone to deploy and understand. No more hidden agendas and a level playing field. Ultimately, everyone having the same access to financial markets, global currencies, investment opportunities, and more is going to change this world for the better. We’ll look back at this time as the path to how we unlocked financial freedom. Our thesis-driven bets toward our mission are as follows: * Equitable and advanced global markets: Decibel, incubated by Aptos Labs, is the first fully decentralized exchange that will match the Binance/Coinbase speed and ease of use.
