The IGR Ukraine team is wrapping up a busy March and preparing for an even busier April. We have received multiple requests for EOD training, explosive hazard awareness training for NGOs conducting humanitarian missions, and operator/maintenance training on commonly used detectors, including the Ceia CMD. If your organization is looking for training, reach out to us. We can host organizations at our facility, or can provide a mobile training team.

IGR works with partners and authorities to develop TTPs and training to mitigate the risks posed by FPVs and other emerging threats, including disruption, destruction, and exploitation. Crashed FPVs that did not function pose a great risk to EOD operators attempting to render them safe, and part of our mission is to keep those operators safe. Most of team avoids social media, and I don’t blame them. But, nevertheless, a big shoutout to the volunteers of IGR who do incredible work in difficult places. Most of the work being done so far this year has been rather sensitive, but I’m happy to share that the support is going to the areas it matters and is making a huge difference.

Our training team brings a wide range of tactical and technical expertise to support threat mitigation initiatives in Ukraine and elsewhere. We recently took part in training Ukrainian Defenders on counter-drone techniques, translating current battlefield lessons learned into valuable scenario-based training.

After almost a year in development, Invictus Global Response (@Invictus_GR) is proud to share the formalization of IGR UA. This milestone represents a major step forward in our capacity-building mission throughout Ukraine. IGR UA was created to ensure humanitarian mine action efforts are led by Ukrainians, built for long-term sustainability, and rooted in local expertise. Through this organization, we will continue to deliver in-country, IMAS-aligned training, developing Ukrainian demining specialists, and strengthening national capability so that skills, leadership, and knowledge remain in Ukraine. IGR UA is led by Executive Director, Olha Ilchenko, — a passionate humanitarian deminer, whose leadership reflects the strength and expertise already present within Ukraine. She has lead the pack through countless hours of development for the final submission for Ukrainian accreditation. This is more than an expansion. A promise made at a hospital bedside didn’t end there. Two years ago, in one of the hardest moments imaginable, a commitment was made to take action when it mattered most. As we head into 2026, our traction and engagement on X and IG is lower than ever, our donations have mostly dried up, but still, we aren’t dismayed. It is a tough time for many, and the situation on the frontline is critical. Thanks to all that have taken the journey with us. We appreciate it, and so do the people we support through your generosity.

What doesn’t come through in a graphic like this are all the early mornings, sleepless nights, hours of prep, classroom, and field time, or the immeasurable amounts of gratitude from the units and organizations we’ve worked with and the communities we’ve supported. It takes an unbelievable amount of support and resources to do any of this, so on behalf of everyone at @Invictus_GR, thank you for supporting us. Things being as they are on here, I’m sure only a small percentage of followers see this, but thank you for your generosity this year.

Getting things done on a budget. Imagine the impact when fully funded. We will always continue to do everything we can and have the largest impact we can.

With some amazing support, IGR conducted activities in 7 Oblasts in 2025. Our small team delivered training to 1200+ beneficiaries, conducted drone survey of areas across Kharkiv, identified almost 400 explosive hazards, supported over 1000 civilians through community outreach sessions. A massive thanks to those of you who have supported us, enabling IGR to be on the ground every day this year. Thank you also to our partners, sponsors and friends, especially @SpyrtWorldwide @eodgear and @eodynamics for your contributions to protecting lives and livelihoods in Ukraine.

Explosive hazards don’t care what the weather is like, so even in winter months we find ourselves as busy as ever supporting Ukrainian EOD and demining units in the sky, the field, and the classroom.
