looking forward to handling out new socks this weekend! we will always need more, always. folks generally have 0 options for laundry services and they can not have wet/cold feet. i asked someone once who got temp hotel stay,"whats the 1st thing you do?""take my socks/shoes off!"

I dont want to be the toughest mfer but life keeps stepping on me. Its hard to show your belly under these circumstances. Some day id love the option to not be both Scylla and Charybdis.

@sock_expert This one nurse last time asserted that the govt is trying to control us with social services and i asked her: "take a look around. Where are the services? Where are the handouts? Do you see a well heeled population?" She had to admit that things are only getting harder.
