As one of the 10% who believe people are intrinsically good, but being human we make mistakes and get things wrong, it's so hard to understand the 90%, who believe everyone is nasty, grasping and selfish, and judge all 100% by those standards. "Made a mistake? Bad person!!!!"

I haven't been spending a lot of time on this website of late but I gotta say I'm working on a project now and it's largely because of this site that I became aware of the work of scholars like @IsaacLand2 and Stacy Alaimo and their work is really helping me frame some stuff.

@mateo_bratanic It really has the functionality, and even the substantial number of (nominal) users now. What’s missing is the active culture of posting that we had over here. But that’s correctable.

Thanks to all for a good 9+ years. Twitter truly became a part of my life. It wouldn’t have been the same without you. Switching on the 🐘 site to the handy instance just for historians tomorrow, but remember it’s easy to follow and be followed by those on other instances.
