ACA sold 691M Aradel shares at N559.50 in Sept 2025 for N387B, a 3.4x dollar return and one of Nigeria’s biggest energy exits. Fast forward 7 months: those same shares are worth N1.16 TRILLION at today’s price of N1,679.90. Petrolin Ocean bought 174M of those shares the same day at N555, total cost N96.57B. That position is now worth N292B, nearly 3x in 7 months on a single strategic move. ACA didn’t leave money on the table by mistake. Private Equity has a clock, you raise, invest, and return capital to LPs. Holding indefinitely is not the mandate. Petrolin plays a different game, strategic, patient, no expiry date. So instead of criticizing ACA’s exit, I have been watching what they buy next. Because when a firm that turned N23.8B into N387B starts writing the next cheque, that’s the signal worth tracking.

This is a fiscal-architecture reading of the Coordinating Minister of the Economy's resignation, based on the evidence, not the Noise. The resignation of Mr Olawale Edun as Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance closes a demanding chapter in Nigeria’s post-subsidy fiscal recalibration. Read on the evidence, and not on the speculative narratives in circulation, the transition is measured, dignified, and constructive. It is, in our considered view, a win-win outcome for the country, for the outgoing minister, and for the reform trajectory that now passes to Mr @taiwoyedele. A deeper Proshare Research note will follow on the structural issues the outgoing Minister flagged, and on the political and sequencing questions the nation must now address beyond personalities. proshare.co/articles/the-e…

Please permit me to preach to you for a minute using brother @temiokomi as a reference point. Temisan was such a giver. In the Bible, the parables of Jesus often associated giving with access to Heaven. The parables are unambiguous on this. Giving is not incidental to Kingdom access, it is structural. The Rich Young Ruler (Matthew 19:21) Jesus tells a man who has kept every commandment: “Go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.” The Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19–31) A wealthy man feasts daily. A beggar named Lazarus starves at his gate. Both die. Lazarus goes to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man goes to torment. No dramatic sin is named. The indictment is the gate he ignored. The Sheep and the Goats (Matthew 25:31–46) The most explicit text on this subject. The righteous inherit the Kingdom because they fed the hungry, clothed the naked, welcomed the stranger, visited the sick and imprisoned. The condemned are turned away for the same reasons, inverted. The verdict in both cases: “Inasmuch as you did it, or did not do it, to one of the least of these.” Brethren, if we go by these texts, giving is a requisite visa to access Heaven. Temisan was an embodiment of this ideal. He lived it. He was it. He gave and gave and just gave. He always found a reason to. Let us pray: May brother Temisan inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. May his family thrive here despite his absence, because he will always be here, somehow. And may the rest of us learn to give, of ourselves and our resources. And may God’s blessings continue to abound for you as you channel them to the world. If you are led to bless the preacher, please send it to this account Veronica Okomi 6003087044 Keystone Bank. That’s Temisan’s widow, everyone may hurt, she will hurt the most. Amidst that, she will now bear the burdens he left behind. When people die, some go out of their way to make things inconvenient for their families. We must be the ones who help to ease their pains. We are God’s vessels for intervening on Earth. God bless and be with you. Amen. Glory to God.

My friend is working hard on putting Lagos on the global LEGO Ideas map and I’m here for it. LEGO already has skyline sets for London, New York, San Francisco, Paris, and other major global cities, but none for Africa yet. If you love truly Lagos, and you believe that the Lagos skyline deserves to be on a LEGO skyline set as much as I do, please click on this link here [bit.ly/LEGOLagos] and let’s make a case for it. We need 9k more people to support this idea. Eko o ni baje! @jidesanwoolu @Pamilerin @Omojuwa @Mr_JAGs @OgbeniDipo

This is a misleading video though. From the video, you can clearly see heaps of sand and gravel, and signs of it being a construction site. The stadium is under renovation. The stadium that was launched and used for years had no roof, then they put on less than 25%, and the pitch after the 2022/23 season had become bad. It’s now being covered fully. Agege stadium took a few years to be renovated, and is just about to be relaunched. Even Onikan that we all use is a construction site with at least 20-30% work left for completion. The pace of work being done in these stadiums is another matter, but still doesn’t mean this is a dilapidated stadium that was left to rot. Anyways, don’t let me let facts come in the way of agenda. 👍🏾

I can’t vilify anyone for supporting a candidate. That’s your right, and I’ve always maintained that I will never be found infringing on it. However, there is simply no way to objectively analyse and evaluate Peter Obi’s candidacy and conclude that he is anywhere near presidential material. He has not demonstrated any solid or informed grasp of the economic, financial, or energy policies required at the highest level. He is best known for regurgitating statistics from Bangladesh and India without proper context or comparative analysis. In terms of pedigree, he is not even better than some Chairmanship candidates in Lagos State. We have the benefit of assessing his record over eight years as a State Governor, yet there is no far-reaching institutional policy or defining legacy he can point to. He did the basics at best. He even fell short in some of these basics. There are records of criticisms from that period, including allegations of substandard road construction, as well as the prolonged doctors’ strike that lasted over nine months under his administration. His leadership range is equally unimpressive. This is someone who once boasted about personally supervising his drivers while they fueled vehicles. Does he expect to have the time for such trivialities as President? Effective governance requires the ability to delegate and build systems that function independently, not micromanaging routine tasks. To cap it all, he comes across as hypocritical and deceptive. It doesn’t take much to see through that if you open your eyes. Ironically, it is the supporters of such a sub-par Man that have the most to say about competence. Good riddance to bad rubbish!
Battle Tested 🥷@BlehisBack

Wait… all these tears because of Peter Obi? 😂 Now let me give you something real to cry about. I don’t believe Peter Obi (ADC) can govern this country and deliver the kind of transformation we actually want. Beyond the alliances with the same recycled wicked political class, I still have his post notifications on from my 2023 fangirl phase and I’ve taken time to read his positions on core economic issues. It’s disappointing 💔💔. Look at his comments on Sani Abacha, the tax bill, and several key policy matters, some of which were quietly deleted. You read them and just think, “nah… this is underwhelming.” 💔 Then there’s the part where we all pretend not to notice his wingmen; Dino Melaye, Nasir El-Rufai, even Atiku Abubakar all orbiting the same movement. Or are we to believe they’ve suddenly become saints cause they now associate with him? At some point, we have to admit we are just repackaging the same old corrupt system that brought us into this mess we are, with a cleaner brand name. And please, we’re past the optics of eating with school children, carrying bags at the airport… that humility theatre. It’s governance we need, not aesthetics. Yes, Bola Tinubu must go. No debate there.❌ Quite frankly, he should never even have happened in the first place‼️ But I wish we didn’t have to repeat the anybody but Jonathan(PDP) situation that made us fall into Buhari’s (APC) laps. I wish we had a real opposition; one rooted in competence, conviction, and the courage to stand against entrenched corruption, not coexist with it. Maybe the 2023 version of Peter Obi felt like that person. But 2027? I’m not convinced. Having doubts about the opposition doesn’t equate being an APC supporter‼️ But if you insist that this stance puts corn in my pocket, then I’ll gladly eat it with beans 🌽😌 Now cry moreeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

The school that produced: 5 Presidents. 27 Governors. 69+ Ministers. 42+ Ambassadors. 72+ Professors. 3 CBN Governors. 3 Sultans. Countless Generals. And a long list of power brokers and business heavyweights. Barewa College, Zaria. Nigeria was made here. I don’t think any High School comes school.
