Decimos aquí desde hace ya algunos años que Europa se va al tacho y pasa ser un tercer mundo bastante choto al terminar el curro del colonialismo, puesto que Europa es el más pobre de los continentes y solo aparenta riqueza por robársela a otros, especialmente a África. Pues bien, la decadencia económica de los europeos tiene, como suele suceder en estos casos, un correlato moral y espiritual. Los europeos se van al tacho porque ya no pueden saquear, Rusia y China les salieron al cruce en África, pero también porque perdieron el rumbo. Veamos esto. La UEFA, que es como la Conmebol de Europa, le impuso al histórico club Estrella Roja de Belgrado una multa de casi 100 mil euros porque la hinchada serbia desplegó un mosaico con la imagen de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo y la inscripción “Nuestra fe nos guiará a la victoria”. La UEFA dice que esa manifestación es “inapropiada para un evento deportivo” y que puede “socavar la reputación e integridad del fútbol”. Lógicamente nadie sabe muy bien cuál es la reputación o la integridad del fútbol europeo, esa cueva de ladrones que hace pocos años quedó expuesta una vez más al caer en cana nadie menos que Michel Platini por corrupción. En Europa, la base del cristianismo occidental, está prohibido el nombre de Cristo. Claro que si los muchachos del Estrella Roja hubieran hecho un mosaico en alusión a aquella otra religión (la que no conviene ni nombrar porque al toque cae la patrulla) la UEFA no habría dicho nada. Y más bien habría elogiado a los hinchas porque la “memoria histórica”, los “valores de la diversidad” y coso. Está todo patas arriba en Europa y a los serbios, que son de lo mejor que hay en esa región, les conviene alejarse de la cloaca europea y acercarse más todavía a Rusia. Se van al tacho, los europeos se van de cabeza al tacho y está bien. Hay que tomar mucha distancia de esos sodomitas inmorales que además ahora van a andar por el mundo pasando el sombrero para poder comer, porque no tienen nada y solo han vendido humo en los últimos 250 años. Estas son las consecuencias finales y necesarias de la revolución burguesa de Francia y de la Ilustración. Lo que empieza mal siempre termina mal.

I still can’t get over the The Museo Nacional de Antropología (National Museum of Anthropology) in Mexico City - I went to this Museum last week…..as an architect, as a visitor to this great Country, and as a pupil of Life. This museum (even without any of the artifacts inside) is a History lesson of Mexico in “Pure Form”, and inspired me to no end. I made this video of the “Feeling” it bestowed upon me, and I played some music to it………that’s enough for now…..”The Feeling”. I am still wandering my way through my pictures and memories, and I intend to make a detailed post of this amazing piece of architecture. It deserves it. Mexico should be proud to have such a wondrous history, and the architects and architecture to hold that history in place.

In 1970, a Mexican-American musician named Sixto Rodriguez released an album in Detroit, USA that critics described as genius. It sold approximately six copies in his home country. His record label dropped him. He went back to work in construction and demolition, swinging a sledgehammer in the streets of Detroit for the next two decades. Somewhere across the ocean, a single copy of that album found its way into South Africa. Nobody knows exactly how. The most repeated story is that an American girl brought it over during a visit. Her friends copied it. Their friends copied it. Under the apartheid regime that ruled South Africa at the time, the country was almost entirely cut off from the outside world. No internet. Severe media censorship. International cultural boycotts. Music from other countries circulated almost entirely through bootleg copies passed hand to hand. Rodriguez's music spread through an entire generation of young South Africans that way. His anti-establishment lyrics became a quiet soundtrack to those who opposed apartheid. By the 1980s he was considered as significant as the Beatles and Bob Dylan. Half a million copies of his album are estimated to have been sold or copied across the country. Nobody knew anything about him. Rumours spread that he had died on stage. The most common version said he had set himself on fire in front of an audience. In the late 1990s, two fans in Cape Town, South Africa decided to find out if any of it was true. They searched the early internet. They followed a chain of contacts. They eventually found him. Sixto Rodriguez was alive. He was in Detroit. He had no telephone, no computer, and no idea that millions of people on the other side of the world knew every word of his songs. He was fifty-six years old. He flew to South Africa and played six sold-out concerts to crowds who had believed for twenty years that he was dead. When he walked on stage for the first time he said: "I'd like to thank you for keeping me alive." He passed away in August 2023. He was eighty years old.
