This morning, I had the honour of being joined by the Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Hon. John Dumelo @johndumelo on a working visit to cocoa farmers in Simpa, within the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality together with @Eben_cobbinah ,the Municipal Chief Executive. The visit formed part of our ongoing efforts to engage directly with farmers, gain deeper insight into their concerns, and identify practical and sustainable interventions to enhance cocoa production across the municipality. The NDC Government remains firmly committed to strengthening the agricultural sector and ensuring that our hardworking farmers receive the attention, support, and policies necessary to improve productivity and secure their livelihoods. #ANewEraofHope #AbanPapaAba

Today, the people of Tarkwa Nsuaem joined together to celebrate our hardworking farmers, whose dedication continues to sustain our communities and drive our local economy.
As the Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem, I extend my warmest congratulations to all award winners for their outstanding contributions. Your commitment to excellence in agriculture is truly commendable.
I also take this opportunity to once again encourage the youth of Tarkwa Nsuaem to actively participate in agriculture and take advantage of the “Nkokɔ Nketenkete” initiative. This is a pathway to empowerment, innovation, and sustainable livelihoods.

As part of our shared commitment to promoting the health and well-being of our people, together with Hon. Dauda Abdul Nassir, DCE for Pru East, jointly call on all female constituents to actively participate in the “Lord Boam’s Breast Cancer Awareness and Health Screening” exercise.
This important health initiative will take place from Sunday, 27th October to Thursday, 31st October, at the following centres:
• Yeji Community Centre – Yeji
• Parambo Health Centre – Parambo
Additionally, constituents are encouraged to freely visit Mathias Catholic Hospital, Harbour Clinic, and all CHPS facilities across the constituency for free breast screening and general health checks during this period.
Breast cancer is curable when detected early and let’s all take this opportunity seriously and get screened. Together, we can raise awareness, save lives, and build a healthier Pru East.

The fight against illegal mining continues unabated.
As part of efforts to strengthen this cause, I made a donation of two vehicles to the Blue Water Guards of Tarkwa Nsuaem to enhance their operational efficiency in combating this menace. During the presentation, I reiterated the Government’s unwavering commitment to the fight against illegal mining and emphasized the need for the team to carry out their duties with utmost diligence, integrity, and dedication.
