You can't compare rugby to football. Footballer runs on average 7-9 mile per game and a rugby player runs 3-4 mile on average.

@AndyGni Go play Rugby and see how many dead legs you get in ONE game and still play on. Even in the slightly older days, players would get smashed in football, get up and run it off within 5min. It's absolutely pathetic that he went off.

Let me try explain myself better: Football has always been physical yes, and it was undoubtedly incredibly physical when I grew up too. But the physicality was never the APPEAL or ENTERTAINING part of the game
The bloke was talking about how it's boring because it's not physical. I'm saying the beauty of the game is in the technical moments not the physical battles!
