Ya girl finally started watching HBO's Rome and I hate how much it made me soypog 5 minutes in when they reenacted Royer's painting of Vercingetorix surrendering to Caesar 😩 and it only got better, I see why ppl love this series so much.... AND CAESAR IS SO WELL CASTED MNNGJHH

Ridiculous to suggest that kids scoring 1460 SATs (not elite, but still in 96th percentile) should become plumbers. Defeatist ideology that prides itself on rejecting "elitism" and embracing downward mobility is not going to attract talented people
