NJCAA D2 Region 16 Baseball

Year number 2 comes to an end. Hounds have some post season accolades.

Here are the All-Region teams from the 2024 season voted on by the Region 16 coaches! Congratulations to all who were selected!!

With the NCMC win over Hesston in the loser bracket semifinal, they will play East Central tomorrow at 11 AM. The Pirates must beat the Falcons twice to advance while East Central needs just one win to advance to the District Tournament.

Hesston wins the early elimination game against Moberly and moves on to the semifinal against North Central who was defeated 8-3 by East Central! East Central now awaits the winner of Hesston and North Central Missouri for tomorrows championship game!

Larks Win! The Larks avoid elimination with a 7-4 win over Moberly Area CC. Hesston will play at 3:30 pm against East Central College/North Central Missouri College for a chance to advance to the Region 16 championship game. #GoLarks

East Central wins Game 1 of the tournament 9-0 over Hesston. ECC will play the winner of NCMC/MACC tomorrow at 12 PM. Hesston will play the loser of the NCMC/MACC game tomorrow at 9 AM. The NCMC and MACC game will begin shortly!

Ladies and Gentleman, your 2023 Region 16 DII Baseball All-Region Team! LHP @KearbeyShane of @ECCFalconBSB brings home Player of the Year! Congratulations to all of these young men on this great accomplishment!

The @HesstonBaseball Larks leave Union as the Regional Champions and will head to Enid, OK to play in the Super Regional tournament with the top seven programs from Region 2!

In the third and final game of the day, @NCMCAthletics pulls out the win and advances to the championship game. They'll take on @HesstonBaseball tomorrow.
