It’s growing more apparent the majority of the country doesn’t want to save the country. They want us to be overran by illegal immigrants. Common sense is an uphill battle because people genuinely don’t want America to last. The majority wants chaos. Read Judges.

Just a reminder: President Trump posts one (horrible) meme and everyone is rightfully calling it blasphemy. The Pope unironically and seriously stands and acts as if he is the the vicar of Christ every day blaspheming and leading millions of people directly to hell.

It is possible for Christians and conservatives to do two things at once. We can generally support President Trump based on his policies and actions, things which we voted for. AND we can call out wrong attitudes, speech, and behavior that is inconsistent with biblical truth. Neither of these necessarily exclude the possibility of the other. Something to think about.

That image is what happens when Paula White is your personal pastor and people around you are continually comparing you to Christ. Trump desperately needs to understand the bad news that precedes the Good News: you are a helpless sinner in desperate need of a Savior, as we all once were.

@AndrewTWalker I could be wrong but I think it's just ignorance on his part - I think he posted it to mock the Pope not Jesus. It would make sense as a follow up to his Pope bashing truth social post. I don't think he had any idea that was a normal characterization of Jesus.

Seeing the President break Commands 1-3 of the Decalogue during Eastertide is one way to wake up on a Monday. That post needs to be deleted. Cheesy and kitsch, yes, but also rank blasphemy.

All this hate for evangelicals when, statistically, we are the only bloc consistently holding it down for biblical marriage, the pro-life cause, secure borders, and every other issue. We are by far the most conservative and united in every political, cultural, and moral area. This is not statistically contested. Without the strength and cohesion of this group, conservatives lose everything. Consequently, the country loses everything. Not an exaggeration. So ask yourself: why would someone want to divide, destroy, and demoralize this stalwart group? The answer is obvious if the person is progressive, but it becomes a bit murky when the people targeting this group are on the “right,” right? Something to ponder

The irony of those who rode Trump’s coat-tails to post-Fox exile riches, or came out of nowhere by riding his jock like Candace, now turning on him is we are so early in his presidency they likely flipped way too early. He’s in the world’s most powerful office, barring Father Time, another two and a half years. And regardless of the outcome of the midterms, the base will be more unified behind him than ever before a year from now. If the midterms go poorly, nothing unites folks like an impeachment cause “they’re coming for my guy.” And if they defy the history and the polls and actually go well, folks are gonna rally around the MAGA flag even harder because Trump saved the GOP from itself again.
