I'm not fond of current trends and twisting the english language into non words. Lately I see posts about the homeless being referred to as "unhoused." I see people talking about unliving rather than the actual word "killing." But the one that bugs me the most is all the restaurants on their menus referring to meat as "protein." I immediately look elsewhere to order. I want to know that it's beef, chicken or pork...not protein! Call it that and I've lost my appetite! Yuck!

A political joke... A woman goes to work at the same time every day leaving her retired hubby at home. Day after day, week after week the same pattern. Then one day she realizes that she left something on her dresser that she needed for work. She turns around 15 minutes after leaving and heads home. She enters the house and doesn't see her husband. Figuring maybe he was in the garage she heads to the bedroom. There he is sprawled out on the bed wearing her red nightie. "What the fuck? Is this what you do every morning?" "Yes," he replies.
