@Mike_kim714 Forced is a wrong way to put it but PGA did start raising purses and adjusting things to benefit the players due to it. So without it i doubt that happens as soon as it did

What a horrendous take Players were “forced” to take massive multi million dollar checks and then sue the very tour that gave them the platform to make names for themselves mostly because they weren’t paid their PIP money. Was everything perfect? Obviously not but to say they were forced? Thats laughable

I would like to acknowledge the statements put out about me recently and that I am also no longer with USA TODAY SMG. I regret zero of what I said and stand beside it. If you want to talk, my messages are open. My email is operative, too. I feel I've been very transparent and did nothing wrong. I also find it so interesting that a Nancy Armour column was able to be published about Dianna Russini setting women back on USAT, but that my comments as a freelancer on my own social media about her were not fine. No clue what Scottie was thinking here or why he responded this way beyond general disdain of media, but I've decided people's reactions to this are a great way to judge them. If you're mad about a reporter asking a simple, common question that players themselves talk about all the time (how good or bad their score could have been based on their assessment of their play), and sometimes generates an interesting observation or two, you're an idiot. Looking for the grievance weirdos going "CLICKBAIT QUESTION GOOD FOR SCOTTIE" to find the dimwits.
