@benonwine @davidericstan He IS absolutely that..........read up on Erich Honneker, dictator of East Germany in the years leading up to 1989. Many similarities. And dictators don't ever resign - they have to be physically removed from office.

Labour has FAILED this country. Living standards are falling, public trust is collapsing, and Britain feels weaker and more divided than ever. Who thinks it’s time to let the people decide? GENERAL ELECTION NOW. 🇬🇧 🙋‍♂️ Raise your hand if you AGREE?

@benonwine I don't think they are bothered about losing our trust - their aim is that we should be erased, and the sooner the better.

A government can survive bad headlines. It can’t survive losing the trust of ordinary people. The country feels stuck, more people are working harder and getting less in return.

Another day, more unhinged threats from the ‘religion of peace’ (Bradford edition). Hope your newborn gets kidnapped and slaughtered, then I’ll piss on the grave. Followed by praise for Allah. Truly peaceful. These are the people we’re letting into the country by the way. #fuckislam

Remarkable: Even the Times admit that the corrosive effect of DEI on policing They admit the police would have acted differently if the person on the ground injured was from ethnic minority Thus agreeing with Reform there IS two tier policing thetimes.com/article/722991…

All the same politicians who spoke of “rage” and “unspeakable fury” and forced a cultural revolution after George Floyd now demand “calm” and “no politicisation” after Henry’s murder. The reason is simple. George Floyd was black. Henry Nowak was white. We will not relent.

@benonwine 'Lessons will be learned' - why is that vile platitude always trotted out after every (preventable) tragedy? Would be almost bearable if lessons WERE learned - but they never are, are they??

Keir Starmer has just met Henry Nowak’s family at No 10, this is his statement. "I was profoundly humbled to meet Henry Nowak’s family, Mark, Lucy and Katie, in Downing Street this afternoon, and to see their dignity and strength in the face of unimaginable pain. "I was moved to learn more about Henry - his kindness, his warmth, and his love of football - and am grateful to his family. There is no doubt he had a bright future ahead of him, a future cruelly stolen from him in appalling circumstances. "Henry deserves a legacy that goes beyond this awful tragedy, and I am committed to making that happen. I am determined that we do everything in our power to prevent other families from suffering such a devastating loss. "There are difficult questions that need to be answered about the way the police handled Henry’s murder. The Independent Office for Police Conduct are investigating. We will be unflinching in taking whatever action is required to right the wrongs in this case. "It is our duty now to ensure that lessons are learned, that justice is delivered and that we choose unity and progress over division and hatred. This is the only way to honour Henry’s memory" What is everyone’s thoughts?

My thoughts ? Normally I would fire into him but this time I choose not to. I have bookmarked this tweet and his words. I choose to hold him to these words and promises. When he does not (like all the rest of his promises), I will remind him of them. These words, like him, are shallow and empty.
