@J_Heaf They can’t claim their personal bills on their expenses, only work bills. For energy costs this means constituency office and secondary accommodation.

How can MP’s be in charge of tax amounts and privatization of essential services AND claim their bills back in expenses? It’s absurd. There is ZERO cost to them. So they can keep the tax low, privatize and pocket more money with much less work.

Johnson and the MP’s that defend him no matter what he does, just don’t appear to be real people. It is so strange when you hear and watch them talk. Like robots raised to believe they are special and entitled to anything they decide to do or say. No empathy, compassion or sense.

The PM’s insane defence is he didn’t fully understand the laws he was setting. For no one else would it matter whether they knew their acts were criminal because ignorance of the law is no excuse & in this case even Larry the cat would have known what he did was breaking the law
