@EndorfiNya @Thisreddie if she did then yes it'd be canon I'd have no problem with that! :) I think viewing it through the fragile masculinity view is still just as valid since all the themes talked about regarding masculinity are still applicable. that is the beauty of art, it is very nuanced

@forgetmaenott i get that but then again, Jax and Pomni ARE the main characters. I wish we could have seen more though, if only the series went on a little longer we could have seen what you are talking about

@JackOfEachTrade yes but to spend half of the series doing so doesn’t really make much sense when there’s five other characters.

Considering that Pomni's character is so focused on encouraging growth, it's wild that her key interactions were with the character who represents refusing to grow (Jax) over someone who wanted to change but needed help (Caine). Kind of a missed opportunity for a neat dynamic.

@LordEgg2 @gingerdozer exactly. Most narratives leave questions because they assume fans are smart enough to answer them. It also keeps the show alive by sparking discussion

People don't understand that nuanced plots have multiple different meanings and THAT'S A GOOD THING, WE WANT OUR ART TO SPARK DISCUSSION. Yes Jax's story is that of a transfem one, AND it is also a cautionary tale of how hypermasculine cutlure (1/2)

@gingerdozer Saw someone unironically claim one of the plot holes was "why them holding their breaths was important" 90% of the "plot holes" people complain about either have blatantly obvious answers or literally aren't relevant to anything actually important

@JackOfEachTrade @bustersw0rd_ I agree I see Jax as he/him because yes it was left open ended and that’s how he left. If he were to come back, then there’s the possibility of him going through the change but there also isn’t, so it is really 50/50. I still love both versions though
