Last night was the worst night I've ever seen in Portland. Counter protesters stood alone as mobs surrounded them and forced them to leave. We witnessed multiple violent assaults on them. While they were being picked off one by one the left was United and terrorising law enforcement, breaking into the gates of the ICE facility and repeatedly telling our agents to kill themselves. Numerous burnings of the flag. Barely anyone was arrested. The state police came... And they left. No de-escalation tactics were used. It was a sad day in America last night...

Domestic violence, drug addiction, alcoholism, poverty, violence, murder, mental health issues, suicide, sexual abuse...all stem from the dangers of drugs and alcohol.
