The Mackenzie Valley Highway has been a dream for Northerners since the 1950s. The 800 km-long highway will be a vital artery for this region, providing year-round access to Indigenous and remote communities in the Mackenzie River Valley, NWT.
Our government is backing the project and moving fast, with construction beginning this summer.
