The counters, the movement, the shotmaking... This is against long, physical defense too. The greatest 37 year old season ever and GSW is still under .500. Every non-steph player is on the trade block now. Bring in size, scoring & athleticism or else this is a wasted year.

GSW are bottom in 2pFG frequency in a season where 2p offense league-wide is more efficient. Making 2nd most 3s per game is one answer but their offense is predictable & reliant on chucking. Need a rim finisher & a rolling big at the deadline e.g. Herb Murphy/Jones & Gafford/Zu

I don't really buy OKC's small market being a factor (Russ/KD were huge stars there) or the fact that he's Canadian (Wemby/Luka are already big stars). Whatever the reasons are, fans need to get used to Shai. He's going to be at the very top of the game for a long time.

I also wonder if everyone was supporting the Pacers last year and the tragic way G7 unfolded tainted his crowning moment in the eyes of most NBA fans. Pacers were the people's team and one could think of OKC as the goliath that only got over the line cos of a busted achilles.

@DaTermonCash Yeah without Gordon and Braun they look very average on D Definitely agree it's regular season effort, particularly from Jokic. We saw what they can do on D last playoffs though I'd be surprised if they aren't a good defense come playoff time

@JakeColemanNBA They got weird defensive rotations, but I imagine that’s mostly down to laziness and not exert themselves. You can tell that Jamal and Jokic don’t like trying too much in the regular season
