Can anyone recommend practical and regular design content on YouTube where the design work is the focus? The only regular good content I've found so far is @DesignerBran's videos, which are graphic design focused. He takes you through the whole design process, with explanations.

I have a feeling this idea has been thought of before but I think it was still a good exercise

I could see this restoring sessions in other apps as well. (IG, Twitter, etc.)

Had a great time learning from @brad_frost and will be taking a lot of these lessons into my future work. Design systems really are systems and products and need to be treated like they are. Thanks to @zeroheight for putting together this workshop and conference!

@disco_lu Interesting look into this! I've always thought atomic design needed to be broken down into something like this to take into consideration the decisions that are made in order to even begin to construct a component like a button or input.

Maybe I should propose something 🤣 I think we can simplify by flattening atoms, molecule, organism into a single “component” Those component groups are then called “patterns” Template is still tricky, but we need a term for full designs, hence “screen”

I think it might be time to reconsider whether atomic design helps or hinders the creation of designs and systems It’s been the de facto rule for looking at interfaces for a long time, but I find that sometimes it can actually create more confusion 💫

A “designer” just told me y’all design for desktop and “rely” on mobile responsiveness for the rest..... and this is exactly why y’all are trash. The web doesn’t just “magically” make your mobile designs appear perfectly. That’s NOT have web development works. 🙃
