@JakeIsBCM It's certainly a switchup to the CS gameplay formula, I think it makes sense in terms of gameplay (it being more 'realistic' doesn't matter, that's not the point)
It'll take a while to adjust to but in the meantime I'll enjoy watching people get fucked by their reload habits

@ultr4nima Yeah it adds more thought to play I understand the change, I just think it might be hard for some to adapt

@JakeIsBCM Yeah, it's a mechanic seen in a few other games but not too many do it this way. With that said I think this makes a lot of sense, as it rewards more intentional play and you have to be way more careful with your decisions now (what to shoot, when to shoot, when to reload)

@ultr4nima This doesn’t seem like the type of game that would benefit from this sort of change but I guess we’ll see 😭 😭 I used to be a big Valorant guy for a few years, and I know I’d lose my mind if I dealt with some shit like that with my reload habits

@JakeIsBCM Imagine you have a gun that has 30 ammo per mag and 60 reserve and imagine a scenario where you shoot just one bullet then reload
Before: 29/60 -> 30/59
After: 29/60 -> 30/30
You waste any and all ammo you had left when you prematurely reload now, so you have to be careful
