@ENERGY I don't personally know anyone who would describe coal as "beautiful" and "clean"...

Just a funny way of saying "utilities will have more information made public, rates will not lower, and they will not be held accountable for their corruption".

California PUC@californiapuc

As California's energy needs grow, planning ahead is critical. We have released a proposal that would help ensure sufficient electricity resources are available to meet demand during heat waves and other periods of high use, while supporting the state's transition to clean energy. Read the proposal: docs.cpuc.ca.gov/PublishedDocs/… The proposal is on our 7/2 Voting Meeting agenda for consideration. Comment on the proposal on the Docket Card: apps.cpuc.ca.gov/apex/f?p=401:5…

Abundant, fast-to-build, AND affordable. No other energy source comes close to beating solar.

@RoKhanna @TomSteyer Since energy has become an essential resource for humanity, it should not be privately run. Utilities like PG&E take more and more money from Californians just to fill their investors' pockets. Their time is up; we need reform. NOW.

Most data centers have semitruck-sized diesel backup generators, making sporadic smoke plumes a fact of life for many in Virginia. An analysis of the emissions found that pollution from the generators could cause respiratory symptoms and premature death. wapo.st/3RylZlb

The growing utility and electrical rates in California are no joke and its high time we make some change here. We pay too much into what's become a necessity to live, i.e. electricity. The utilities like PGE should work for us, not the other way around.

Why should the utilities get to dictate how our energy is made and provided? Does every grocer you buy produce from get to tell you whether you can have your own home garden or not? Support Solar. Reform Utilities.
Solar Rights Alliance@solar_rights

(1/2) Once again, the utilities are trying to block people from making energy from the sun. This time, it's over a bill that would let people safely plug solar panels into their wall outlets to cut their energy costs.

@RichardHanania This would only apply if California actually let market forces work in the utilities market.
